This is an 18-month internship opportunity within the City of Johannesburg’s Human Settlements Department, specifically in the Executive Director’s Office. Minimum Requirements

  • Grade 12 / NQF Level 4
  • Diploma or Degree in:
  • Business Management
  • Business Administration
  • Public Management / Administration
  • Or a related field (NQF Level 6/7)
  • No prior experience required
  • Proficiency in English (reading and writing)
  • Computer literacy in MS Office (especially Excel)

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform professional administrative support for the Business Management Directorate
  • Assist with monitoring, evaluation, compliance, HR, and strategic planning functions
  • Undertake site visits or risk assessments to verify project data
  • Help draft reports, concept notes, business plans, and quarterly submissions
  • Handle confidential documents and information
