This is a tender for a permanent Artisan Foreman position within the South African Navy, based at the SA Naval Armament Depot in Simon’s Town. The role is supervisory and technical, focusing on managing workshop personnel, administration, budget control, and stores. The ideal candidate must possess an appropriate Trade Test Certificate and have at least 10 years of post-qualification experience, preferably within an Electrical Weapons Systems environment. Key skills required include project management, financial management, technical report writing, and computer-aided applications. The successful applicant will be subjected to stringent security clearance and personnel suitability checks. REQUIREMENTS:

DUTIES:

  • Supervision of workshop personnel and their workload

  • Job-card admin via Computer system (OSIS)
  • Attend relevant meetings
  • Building manager duties.
